African Reinsurance to Go Live with Oracle Implementation Q2-15
SoftAlliance Oracle implementation for African Reinsurance Corporation (Africa Re) is schedule to go live in the second quarter of 2015.
African Reinsurance Corporation (Africa Re), a pan-African international financial institution, headquartered in Lagos, had last year initiated and awarded to Soft Alliance and Resources the implementation of Oracle e-business suite for its finance, human capital management and supply chain functions.
Africa Re was established by the 36 member States of the OAU and the AfDB with the aim of reducing the outflow of foreign exchange from the continent by retaining a substantial proportion of the reinsurance premiums generated therein. Africa Re is also to foster the development of the insurance and reinsurance industry in Africa, to promote the growth of the national, regional and sub-regional underwriting and retention capacities and to support African economic development.
SoftAlliance oracle implementation for African Re will include the following modules; Oracle Financials: Treasury, Fixed Asset, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger. Under Human Capital Management its implementing HR/Payroll, Self Service, Performance Management and Learning Management. Under Supply Chain; Inventory, Purchasing and i-Expense.
Soft Alliance is carrying out the implementation in languages other than English and for different countries.
