Soft Alliance deploys iHRMS in for Ekiti State Government

The Ekiti State Executive Council (SEC) a few months ago resolved to computerize the state’s public payroll system to weed out all leakages in the state’s finance. The State Government has decided to award the project to Soft Alliance who will bring to fore their experience garnered from implementing payroll systems for various State Governments. Soft Alliance will deploy its own application called iHRMS to computerize the state’s payroll which would assist the government to determine the actual number of its workforce and block all loopholes through which government loses money.

According to the Ekiti Information Commissioner, Mrs. Fola Richie- Adewusi “People are retiring and leaving the service, but the amount of salaries we pay to workers is not reducing. The state government cannot boast of having an accurate number of its workforce,” she said.

She said with the computerization, it would be easier to determine the actual database of workers for effective management of the lean finances accruing into the state.
